Mass Flow Filling Machine
Spheretech's Mass Flowmeter Based Filler employs high-quality mass flowmeters, operating on the principle of the Coriolis effect. Coriolis meters are true mass meters as they measure the mass rate of flow directly, unlike other technologies that measure volumetric flow.
In this system, the liquid passes through a U-shaped tube that vibrates in an angular harmonic oscillation. Coriolis forces deform the tube, adding a further vibration component to the oscillating tube, resulting in a phase shift or twist in some parts of the tube. This phase shift, directly proportional to the liquid mass flow rate, is measured by sensors. The information is then transferred to the electronics unit, where it is converted to a voltage proportional to the mass flow rate.
